4. User Registration and Account

• Users must be at least 18 years old.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain account security and protect login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account activity.
• Each User may maintain only one account.

5. Order Placement and Processing

• Orders are subject to Restaurant Partner acceptance.
• We are not responsible for food quality, safety, or allergen details.
• Prices may differ from physical restaurant menus.
• Delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed.
• Minimum order values may apply.
• Platform may cancel orders due to pricing errors, unavailability, or technical issues.

6. Payment Terms

• Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways.
• Supported methods: Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, Wallets, Net Banking, Cash on Delivery.
• Platform may charge delivery or service fees.
• Taxes are applied as per applicable laws.
• Refunds are processed to the original method within 7–14 business days.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer Cancellation

• Before restaurant accepts → Full refund
• After acceptance but before preparation begins → Partial refund
• After preparation begins → No refund (unless Platform error)

Platform/Restaurant Cancellation

• Item unavailability
• Technical or operational issues
• Suspicious or fraudulent activity
• Unserviceable delivery location
• Force majeure events

8. Delivery Terms

• Delivery areas are determined by the Platform.
• Customers must enter accurate delivery information.
• Delivery partners will attempt to contact customers.
• After failed attempts, order may be cancelled (partial refund possible).
• Platform is not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, or other factors.

9. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

• Do not use the Platform for illegal purposes.
• Do not place fraudulent orders.
• Do not harass delivery partners or restaurant staff.
• Do not upload harmful or malicious software.
• Do not reverse-engineer Platform functionality.
• Do not use others’ accounts.
• Do not violate applicable laws.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content is owned by chicken99.in or licensed partners. Users grant the Platform a license to use uploaded content such as reviews or images. Trademarks and logos may not be used without formal authorization.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is not liable for:

• Food quality, safety, or allergic reactions
• Actions of Restaurant Partners or Delivery Partners
• Technical errors or service interruptions
• Indirect or consequential damages

Maximum liability is limited to the order value.

12. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy

13. Promotions and Offers

• Limited to one offer per user unless stated otherwise.
• Platform may modify or withdraw offers at any time.
• Offers cannot be clubbed unless permitted.
• Fraudulent usage of coupons may lead to recovery of losses.

14. Restaurant Partner Terms

Restaurant Partners are governed by separate agreements covering commissions, menu accuracy, service quality, order acceptance, and payment cycles.

15. Delivery Partner Terms

Delivery Partners are independent contractors and are bound by separate agreements that outline compensation, insurance, and service standards.

16. Modification of Terms

The Platform reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes implies acceptance. Significant updates may be communicated via email or notifications.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Illegal conduct
• Non-payment issues
• Platform discretion

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes must first be raised through customer support. If unresolved, disputes will proceed to mediation or arbitration. Jurisdiction lies with the courts of respective States.

19. Force Majeure

The Platform is not responsible for service delays due to events beyond reasonable control such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, network outages, or government restrictions.

20. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining sections will remain enforceable.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the User and the Platform concerning the use of our services.
