Important Safety Guidelines
Raw poultry must be handled with care to prevent illness. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions:
Storage: Keep refrigerated (0-4°C) or frozen (-18°C). Thaw in the refrigerator or microwave, never at room temperature.
Preparation: Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces, cutting boards, utensils, and hands thoroughly after touching raw poultry.
Cooking: Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of at least 74°C (165°F) to ensure absolute food safety.
What is Chicken99?
Chicken99 is a premium direct-to-consumer brand delivering farm-fresh, 100% antibiotic-free chicken straight to your doorstep. We manage the entire process from sourcing to processing to ensure unmatched quality and hygiene.
How do I track my order?
Go to 'My Orders' in your account. You'll see real-time updates: Order Confirmed → Processing → Out for Delivery → Delivered. You'll also receive SMS notifications.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), all major Credit/Debit cards, Netbanking, and Cash on Delivery (COD) for select areas. All online payments are 100% secure and encrypted.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order immediately before it is dispatched from our processing center. Since raw meat is highly perishable, cancellations are not accepted once the order is out for delivery.
How do I report a quality issue?
If you face any issues with freshness or tampered packaging, go to 'Order History' → select the order → click 'Report Issue'. You can also contact support with your order ID and photo evidence within 2 hours of delivery for a fast refund/replacement.
Do you charge delivery fees?
Delivery fees depend on your distance from our processing centers. We offer free delivery on orders above ₹499 in select zones. All fees are clearly shown at checkout before payment.
How can I update my profile information?
Tap on your profile icon → 'Account Settings' to edit your name, phone number, email, or saved addresses. Changes reflect immediately.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. We use PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways with 256-bit SSL encryption. We never store your card details on our servers.
How long does a refund take?
Approved refunds are processed within 3-5 business days to your original payment method. Chicken99 Wallet refunds are processed instantly.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We currently serve select districts in Pune and Palghar. Enter your pincode on the home screen to check availability in your specific area.
Is there a minimum order value?
The minimum order value for home delivery is ₹199.
How do I use a promo code?
In your cart, before checkout, click on 'Apply Coupon' and enter your code. The discount will instantly apply to your total bill.
What are your safety and hygiene standards?
Our poultry is processed in FSSAI-certified, temperature-controlled facilities (below 4°C). We use triple-secured, vacuum-sealed packaging to ensure 100% contamination-free delivery.
Do you accept bulk or party orders?
Yes! For bulk orders exceeding 5kg, we recommend placing orders at least 12 hours in advance. Contact our support team for customized cuts and wholesale pricing.
Why does the chicken have a slight smell when I open the packet?
This is completely normal. We vacuum-seal our meat to maintain freshness and prevent bacterial growth naturally. Upon opening, you may notice a slight 'confinement odor' which dissipates within a minute of exposing the meat to air.
How long can I store the chicken after delivery?
For the best taste, we recommend consuming the fresh chicken within 2 days if kept in a refrigerator (0-4°C). If you plan to use it later, please freeze it immediately at -18°C, where it will stay safe for up to 30 days.
Why did I get fewer pieces than expected?
Our pricing and packaging are strictly based on weight, not by the number of pieces. Depending on the size of the bird processed that day, the exact number of cuts may vary slightly, but the net weight will always be perfectly accurate.
Is your chicken Halal certified?
Yes, absolutely. All our poultry is 100% Halal cut by certified butchers, adhering strictly to traditional and religious guidelines.
Are there any growth hormones or steroids used?
No. Our chickens are raised naturally in spacious, stress-free farms. We guarantee that absolutely no growth hormones, steroids, or artificial growth promoters are used at any stage of their life cycle.
